In the next century, a bionic scientist called "Dr. Scarab" is after power and immortality by bionic-nanotech engineering. He and his henchmen are stopped again and again by Dr. Sharp and his Bionic Six, a multi-cultural family of bionic people.

The father was a test pilot and gourmet cook, the mother a marine biologist, with four children. The blonde-haired daughter (Meg) was a Valley Girl, the brown-haired son (Eric) was on the high school baseball team, the African-American son (J.D.) was top of his class, and the Asian son (Bunji) was learning karate. They and Dr. Sharp had to constantly stop Dr. Scarab, Dr. Sharp's evil brother, from taking over the world.

Dr. Scarab had five terrorists he created to help him in his evil deeds. The Bionic Six were given their powers by Dr. Sharp's bionizing machine, and were clearly superior to Dr. Scarab's technology. A very good sci-fi cartoon show. Featured many voices that went on to other shows, such as Frank Welker and Brian Tochi.

 ____________________________

Popeye the Sailor Man is a cartoon fictional character created by Elzie Crisler Segar, who has appeared in comic strips and theatrical and television animated cartoons. In 1933, Max and Dave Fleischer's Fleischer Studios adapted the characters into a series of Popeye the Sailor theatrical cartoon shorts for Paramount Pictures. These cartoons proved to be among the most popular of the 1930s, and the Fleischers—and later Paramount's own Famous Studios—continued production through 1957.

Disc 1

1. Gopher Spinach (1954) - Pesky gopher ruins Popeye's spinach patch.

2. Insect to Injury (1956) - Popeye's new house is consumed by termites, so he builds another out of steel.

3. Cookin’ With Gags (1955) - Bluto goes too far with his April Fool's jokes.

4. Private Eye Popeye (1954) - Private Eye Popeye gets a call from Olive Oyl to guard a precious gem.

5. Popeye For President (1956) - Popeye and Bluto are running for president; it's election day, the vote is tied, and Olive is the only remaining voter.

6. Out of Punch (1956) - Bluto tries derailing Popeye's training regimen for their big boxing match.

7. Shuteye Popeye (1952) - Popeye's snoring is keeping his resident mouse awake. The mouse fights back. Popeye makes a mistake: he traps the mouse in a spinach can that isn't completely empty.

8. A Haul in One (1956) - Popeye and Bluto are moving men partners who battle over a new client (Olive).

9. Taxi-Turvy (1954) - Popeye and Bluto are taxi drivers; they are, of course, competing for fares - and Olive, in particular.

10. Bride and Groom (1954) - Bride-to-be Olive gets cold feet after some nightmares of a future with Popeye.

11. Greek Mirthology (1954) - Popeye's nephews only want ice cream, until he tells them about their ancient Greek ancestor, who was saved by spinach.

12. Fright To The Finish (1954) - Bluto plays mean tricks on Popeye and tries to scare Olive on Halloween.

13. Floor Flusher (1954) - Popeye repairs Olive's leaky faucet until Bluto sabotages the pipes.

14. Assault and Flattery (1956) - Judge Wimpy watches scenes from earlier shorts to determine if Popeye is guilty of beating Bluto up.

15. A Date to Skate (1938) - Popeye tries to teach Olive to rollerskate. (Mae Questal's last Popeye cartoon as Olive.)

Disc 2

1. Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp (1939 – 22 Minutes) - Olive dreams that Popeye is Aladdin. His magic lamp transforms Popeye into a prince.

2. Popeye the Sailor Meets Ali Baba's Forty Thieves (1937 – 17 Minutes) - After their plane crashes, Popeye, Olive amd Wimpy end up in a desert town that's ransacked by Abu Hassan (Bluto) and his 40 men

3. Popeye the Sailor Meets Sindbad the Sailor (1936 – 16 Minutes) - Oscar-nominated two-reeler has Popeye rescuing Olive from Sindbad.

4. Little Swee’ Pea (1936) - A trip to the zoo keeps Popeye busy rescuing a mischievous baby from the animals.

5. Customers Wanted (1939) - Popeye and Bluto each own penny arcades that show scenes of earlier shorts. Their competition for customers leads to a huge fistfight.

6. I Don’t Scare (1956) - Bluto changes the calendar to Friday the 13th so superstitious Olive won't go out with Popeye.

7. Nearlyweds (1957) - Popeye's and Olive's wedding plans are ruined when he shows up at the ceremony wearing a barrel.

8. Parlez Vous Woo (1956) - Bluto adopts a fake French accent to lure Olive from Popeye.

9. Patriotic Popeye (1957) - Popeye is celebrating the Fourth of July by arranging a patriotic garden, while his nephews would only want to play with fireworks.

10. I’m In The Army Now (1936) - Olive's infatuation with soldiers brings Bluto and Popeye to an enlistment station, where clips of earlier shorts are shown.
